Happy Birthday!!!!!

May 22, 2008

Tomorrow is the big day! My baby girl turns one. It is sooo bittersweet. I have no idea where the past year went, it definately got away from me and that makes me sad. I mean I stay at home with her, shouldn’t the time have dragged on? I’ve been with her everyday but I still fell like I’ve missed so much time. It just stinks that my kids are growing so quickly:( Ok I have to get to the pictures before I start crying…

My Saturday session was this super lovable, handsome 6 month old. He was a dream, all smiles all the time. His big sister is 3 and is simply stunning she looks so much like my little sister when she was that age. I’ve had a busy week with several showings on the house so I’m getting these up a but later than I had wanted too (I need some house selling dust, so if you’ve got any, please send it over!) Mom, you were so much fun too I hope you enjoy the pictures of your babies!

For Sale!!

May 9, 2008

It’s official! The house is on the market, now hopefully someone will buy it:) It’s really cute and clean, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, huge yard, game room, quiet subdivision, new hotwater tank as of last month….what else could ya ask for? I took all the pics and sent them over to the realtor and I will finish putting the flyer together this evening when she sends me the wording.

*SIGH*
(that is a sigh of relief)

Old train station.

May 6, 2008

On our way home from the farm Saturday I spotted an old train station, I was so excited! There was also a no longer used Gulf storage station and some abandoned tracks. We didn’t have long to shoot and the kids were tired and hungry but man if I could have shot there for an hour, I would have been in heaven!

Sweet Berry Farms!

May 5, 2008

Saturday we made the drive out west to Marble Falls. For some crazy reason we thought some manual labor would be fun….and it was! We had a great time picking strawberries, pulling onions and digging for potatoes! I’ve never pulled onions or dug potatoes before, it was actually really fun, it was also the kids first time strawberry picking.

The farm had some animals, horses, goats, donkeys and chickens…baby girl thought they were hysterical, she was laughing up a storm! This one family set there strawberry basket down to go pet the donkeys, well they set it a bit too close to the fence because the horse had a field day with those red luscious berries! I didn’t have my camera with me while he was chowing down but I did catch the aftermath:)

The first time I’ve shared my son on the blog (isn’t he a handsome guy!?) he is in the middle of enjoying his ice cream…strawberry flavor!

This past week has been sooo busy and stressful it is just plain ridiculous! I was hoping to have this sneak peak from my Saturday session up for mom on Monday, as you can see I’m a few days late. Hope mom will check in and see them though:)
