I am so pleased, excited and honored to announce that I have been accepted as a photographer for a new charity, Pictures of Hope. Pictures of Hope was founded by a very talented photographer, Sarah Ulrich out of Lincoln, Nebraska.

Please spread the word about this new organization to anyone that you think could benefit from it, please feel freel to link back to this post on your blog. This is a national organization, so even if you are not in the Austin area and are just stopping by to see my work, it would be appreciated if you could spread the word in your area too:)

Sunday Dave got to go into work late and I was so excited we could take the kids to Lifepoint Church’s kites 4 kids at the Hutto high school. The weather was absolutely perfect! We haven’t been able to go in years past and we had a great time. I didn’t take very many pics because it was tough trying to watch 3 kids, watch that they don’t step in ant hills, help get kits in the air and help hold kites, watch my purse and take pics. I wish I would have brought my telephoto but we were running a bit behind already…oh well next year hopefully;)
It was pretty cool watching all the kites flying.

There are so many times in life that I am too busy or too oblivious to notice all of the beauty that is in our world. I’ve decided to slow it down a bit and appreciate all of the amazing sunsets, the smell of fresh cut grass, the birds chirping like crazy before sunrise and everything else that goes underappreciated in daily life.

These are a few shots from after our last storm here in Hutto, the one with all the crazy hail.

I am sooo excited to share my first class of 2010 Rep! This is Julia and she was an absolute dream to work with!!!! She is involved with the dance team, the Lacrosse team, is part of NHS , involved in her community and so much more! I know that she has an amazing future in front of her!

It was so different for me to photograph someone I didn’t have to chase and make funny faces/noises at, but I LOVED it! I’m excited to dive into the Senior market here in Austin!

Thanks for stopping by the blog, make sure you leave J some blog love;)

Yesterday Tae and I did some damage with the credit card:) This was her favorite outfit in the store and anyone who knows Tae knows she doesn’t give a crap about clothes. lol But she was like my true shopping partner yesterday, it was great! Of course I had to get shots with her new outfit…it’s so 80’s..not sure if I like it or not. I was pondering crimping and teasing her hair but the sun was setting too fast. We were out for about 20 minutes and I got alot of shots I love!44-9web44-14web44-16web44-20web44-34web44-37web44-48web44-52web44-55web44-60web44-65web
