Monday, July 6th, 2009We had a great Independence Day yesterday! Started off at the parade in Round Rock, then went to go see our very first movie as a family (No easy task with a 2 year old, but she did really well!) grilled out for dinner then headed for Fireworks!

Saturday, July 4th, 2009Rush and Bailey are just 2 of the kittens that I am fostering for Austin Pets Alive. I have had Rush since he was 10 days old and have bottle fed and hand raised him since. He holds a very special place in my heart and in the heart of my husband and our kids. He is almost 3 months old now.
Austin Pets Alive! is in desperate need of more foster homes. The number of lives we can save is directly related to the number of foster homes we have. We need your help. Fostering a pet for as short as 24 hours can save its life.
What is a Foster Home?
A foster home is a temporary living situation for pets in our program while they are awaiting placement in a permanent home. APA! is still developing its shelter facility, so most adoptable pets in our program are in foster homes. Foster families provide shelter, food, care and love. The number of animals we can save depends entirely on the number of people who open their homes and hearts to foster them.
