My sweet, loud, loving, handsome, whiny, smart, stubborn, totally awesome, funny, helpful, kind, gentle, energetic baby boy is a whole hand today! Sebastian Chase (Bash, Basher, Bashy Boo) arrived at 10:51 PM, 10 pounds 2 ounces, 22 inches long, screaming at the world with an unexpected penis. I’m so glad I have my boy;) Happy Birthday son.

Sunday, February 7th, 2010Well it’s Sunday and I am pleased to say that I survived my first event;) Really though, I am very happy to say that because I was a hot mess Friday night and all day Saturday. Stomach pains, breaking out in a cold sweat, near dry heaving…I wasn’t sick, I was scared! Maybe even terrified. Why am I telling the world this? lol Mostly because it’s true but more so because I am human and even though I am confident in my abilities as a photographer, this was my first big event where everything fell on my shoulders. It was scary. This is why I am not a wedding photographer;) I’d be a ball of crazy all the time! In the end I had faith in myself as a photographer and a bunch of very helpful friends and everything went swimmingly!!!
I do want to give a really HUGE shout out and THANK YOU to my friend Kim for all her help and support yesterday. I could not have gotten through the night without her, she was AWESOME and took care of everything!!! I am so grateful she is a part of my life. <3 you Kim xoxoxo
I also want to share with yall that Reasonate Community Church raised over 1 THOUSAND dollars ($1,000.00) for the Hutto Food Pantry by hosting Hutto’s First Daddy Daughter Dance. How amazing is that?!?!?!? I am thankful that these people live in our community and truly want to make it a better place for all of us! Friday, February 5th, 2010LMBO…this image cracks me up!!!I think it may be one of my favorite images ever. Really, it is just so natural and so them.
I love the way mom did their hair too, very cute with a little bit of spunk and the ribbon gives it a sweet girly feel. Perfect for the pettiskirts that I have available for clients to use! Dru liked her pettiskirt and was haming it up for the camera.
Parker on the other hand…not really a fan of the camera or answering my 86 questions;)
She does love her baby sister though!
And we finished off the session with sucker bribery to get a picture on the giant red heart! They were really over me by then and wanted to join my kids in the backyard to play;) I still love this shot though!

Thursday, February 4th, 2010I got to photograph another brother & sister and I have to tell you that this little boy is such a great big brother! He was very sweet and gentle with his 6 month old sister. Little sister just adored big brother too. She kept smiling at him and watching what he was doing. I know that these siblings are always going to be close and have each others back;)

Wednesday, February 3rd, 2010Aren’t these 6 month old twins super adorable? I think so! Mr Knox had such a sweet smile and Miss Piper has that fierce super model stare down for sure! They compliment each other perfectly! I hope to photograph them again some day as I enjoyed having them in front of my lens;)
Their mom was referred to me by another client of mine. I have to let you all know that I am so thankful for clients that share my name with people they have met! I love meeting new people and capturing these special images for parents to treasure forever.

Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010And I am so happy to be the photographer!!!!!! I will be set up in the corner of the cafeteria all ready to capture this special night. Pictures will be prepaid at the event and only cash will be accepted.
The dance is THIS Saturday, get dressed as casual or fancy as you’d like.
When: Saturday, February 6, 2010, 6pm to 8pm
Where: Cottonwood Creek Elementary School Cafeteria
Cost: $10 per family, all donations go to benefit the Hutto Food Pantry
We will have music, dancing, refreshments, and on-site photography portraits to make your night memorable! (Portraits not included in ticket price)
Tickets are $10 PER FAMILY, not per person so it is a very affordable date night for daddies and their little princesses! Tickets can be purchased at the door or online on Eventbrite
