That's me!

My name is Heather Georger and I am the owner and photographer for Vanity Photography. I am a wife to my high school sweetheart & mama to 3 adorable, busy children.

I amm not a writer, my creatvity lies only in my photography.  Chances are my blog posts will not be witty, or very long but I hope you will still visit to see what I have been up to and to take a peek at some new images.

I’m a lover of art! Photography is my favorite kind, it is a true passion of mine. It has been for as long as I can remember.  There is just something so powerful and magical about freezing a moment in time and having that memory last for ever.

I’m goofy and eclectic and can appreciate the beauty in all things. I love sushi and pizza and chocolate is definately my #1 favorite thing EVER!

I love driving with the windows down and turning the radio up! If you ever drive by me, more likely than not I will be singing out loud….probably badly…and without shame:)

I am wanting to go back to school for web design this year as trying to teach myself html code has only given me headaches;)

I hate wearing socks and shoes, flip flops are my best friend! Even living in NY I would push wearing flip flops until the snow would be just too high to bear it.  One reason I <3 Austin so much is because I can wear flip flops year round.

My bucket list is a mile long and only gets longer every day. There are so so many places I want to visit, so many things I want to see and a ton more I want to accomplish before my time here is up. I hope that is not for many decades.

I am addicted to using little “smilies” or whatever they are called. It is so hard to hear tone on the internet and I figure they make it easier:)

I think though I was born and raised in New York, I fit perfectly into Austin…except for the fact that I don’t eat Tex Mex or BBQ!
