My name is Heather Georger and I am a wife to my high school sweetheart, David & mama to 3 adorable children. Taelyn is our oldest, she’s 11 and is in 5th grade. Tae plays soccer, guitar and takes gymnastics. She is also in love with horses. Sebastian is 7, our middle child and is in 1st grade! He loves to talk, read and play. He is enjoys karate this year and playing soccer. Aubrey is our baby girl, she is almost 5 old goes to Pre K in the afternoons. She is my little comedian, she loves to make people smile. She takes gymnastics now, but will be starting karate and t-ball in the Spring.
A bit more about me:
We are transplants from New York and have been here for 5.5 years now. I think I fit perfectly into Austin…except for the fact that I don’t eat Tex Mex or BBQ (with Louie Mueller’s baked potato being the exception)! But I’m quirky and unique and laidback and FUN!
I have a Criminal Justice Degree…comes in VERY handy as a photographer you know…lol. Seriously though, I wanted to be a Forensic Anthropoligist, who knows maybe I’ll get the chance some day.
I adore photography, always have. I don’t have a “style”…either personally or professionally, I can appreciate the beauty in all things. I’m goofy and eclectic and I think that is reflected in my photography. I love shooting on location with natural light or bringing my studio to your home to capture your sweet newborn.
I am a HUGE fan of color but black and white images are simply timeless. I will offer you both in your gallery.
I hate wearing socks and shoes, flip flops are my best friend! Unless I am shooting a wedding, am at the gym or there is a lot of snow on the ground, flip flops are all I wear.
I am addicted to using little “smilies”, It is so hard to hear tone on the internet and I figure they make it easier! Annnnd while we are on the subject of addiction, I’m also addicted to facebook and chocolate.
My bucket list is a mile long and only gets longer every day. It includes traveling, sky diving and having grandkids…..in like 20 years;)
Hope that gives you a little insight into who I am as a person.
