I Love this family.
Gina is such a giving and loving person (as is her husband), currently they are working on Hutto’s Orange Santa Program If you can donate any moniess or new unwrapped toys we would really appreciate it!
I first met Gina over 2 years ago through Craigslist, yes…you read that right, I said Craigslist. We met shortly after our first few email exchanges through a moms group here in Hutto. I felt a connection with her the first time we chatted, we were so much alike. Our friendship didn’t take off right away, she was a busy girl and I was suffering a little bit of the baby blues and really had to force myself to go to that play date that day. I was out of my comfort zone, it was few and far between (and still is) that I venture out to play dates with moms groups. Don’t get me wrong I love chatting with people and getting to know that but it is me I have the issue with. I’m just not comfortable in my skin and that is something I am working on…very slowly.
In April of 2008 I photographed her kiddos for part of my portfolio building, they were just gorgeous and so well behaved!
So anywho….it took awhile for our friendship to take shape and now that it has, I can’t even say how thankful I am. Our families just mesh. The kids don’t fight. Our husbands both love the Yankees and have the same way about them. It’s just nice. I don’t have to worry about what I say around her, I can be ME! There are few people I feel comfortable enough around to let my guard down and Gina is one of the few.
Back in July, she and her hubby welcomed their sweet new princess into the world and I got to capture her first professional photos at just a few days old. I’m so happy to give them these images to treasure forever!
I loved this session. Even though it was FREEZING and windy, I love the images….of course that could just be because I love the subjects.
XOXO
Heather
