Freddie appeared this morning swinging on a spirally number 30 decoration from my husbands 30th birthday party last month. He must be having a ball, he’s been up there all day! I think he was subliminally trying to tell me that it’s been a month since David turned 30 and I should stop torturing him everyday by reminding him he’s old;) The reality is that I’m not far behind…I’ll be turning 30 in just a few short months. I must say that talking about being 30 still feels surreal to me. David and I have been together since we were 15, so nearly 15 years (in August) and I remember us talking about how life would be when we were “old” (meaning 30…hey when you’re 15, 30 IS old!) it’s just weird that it’s already here. Anywho, this is why I don’t write alot on my posts…just like in real life I go off on tangents and land on completely different topics. lol So to make my post cohesive here are some snaps from Dave’s Dirty Thirty Party in October.

That’s the question around here this evening. Today is the day we first met Freddie. (The kids lovingly named him Freddie…I’m not so sure he looks like a Freddie though) He appeared out of thin air on my fabulous pink chair about 5:00. I think the kids are going to have a fun time with this Elf on a Shelf tradition! I’ll keep you posted on some of his antics;)

That’s what my new 36×36 inch or 3 foot by 3 foot Gallery wrapped Canvas is!!!! It is so amazing and I can’t stop staring at it. Here is a snap next to my 3.5 year old;)
I also found a new canvas supplier with a great turn around time…that means no more waiting 6-8 weeks for your canvas! Yay!
Woke up to this lovely email this morning…
Sounds like a great opportunity and a new client potentially right? It’s not. I’ve received a handful of these scam emails over the years and want to make sure other photographers know they are scams too. What these people do is tell you they want to book a session, you respond, they tell you they will send you a check for more than they owe you “accidentally” and if you can refund them the difference. Check bounces and your out an “refund” you may have given.
It’s sad that there are people out there who can’t make an honest living, make sure to always protect yourself and if it sounds fishy…it probably is.
