I can’t believe that 18 months have passed since I photographed this sweet newborn! I think he still looks so much like that 8 day old in the last image.
This is the first image taken and he did not move a muscle for about 10 minutes it was comical! He just stood there looking at me, smiling being all GQ;) I didn’t even break a sweat;)
Would you ever believe this smiley, beautiful little girl arrived at her session asleep? I was slightly terrified at waking a 1 year old but her mama knew that she would be fine. And she was AWESOME!!!! She had me laughing and moving the entire time. is our newest foster BUT she is also a new mama! She has 2 adorable 5 day old pups as well. A boy and a girl! Can’t beat that;) She is the sweetest girl and a great mama!
Making my famous spaghetti sauce for dinner!
Most of the ingredients.
Chop up/dice your veggies and saute them in Olive Oil.
After they’ve softened add an entire head of garlic.
As soon as you really smell the garlic, add your tomatoes. You do not want the garlic to burn.
Give the pot a quick stir.
Add your sausages. Today I have Chicken Basil, Pork Sweet and Pork Hot. Just sink them down in your sauce.
Bring to a boil for about 15 minutes, then simmer for an hour or more. I also add lots of oregano, red pepper flakes and sugar to my sauce. Usually I make meatballs but just didn’t feel like doing that today;)

Today is the day my handsome fella surprised us on 7 years ago. When I was pregnant with Sebastian I had 6 sonograms between 16 and 35 weeks, different technicians, different machines even different places and they ALL SAID I was having another girl. I was thrilled. We painted the nursery purple with a light green floor, went shopping for some girl clothes and picked up the baby name book to see what names we liked for our new princess on the way. I went in to be induced because the baby was on the larger side so imagine my surprise after laboring for hours and hours to hear the nurse say “Your baby has a penis!”. Wait. Whatdidshesay???????? We had a BOY!!!! What a moment that was!
Dave and I just looked at each other and began to cry. Even though we had been told girl all along I always felt like I was having a boy. I had the name picked out and everything. We did not have a girls name picked out, even in labor we couldn’t agree. And so it was just so fitting that a baby boy was brought into our family. Sebastian Chase, all 10lbs and 2 ounces of him! He has been full of surprises and happiness everyday since. I am so thankful to have my son and am not looking forward to the day when another girl comes into his life. He’s such a handsome boy I’m sure there will be many.

If you’ve ever loaded any pictures to Facebook you know that the compression kills the image. As a photographer this of course drives me bonkers! A sweet friend of mine made this dress for Aubrey among many others and I just am in love with this image!
